They are manufactured with a permanent rubber reinforced bi-level face that minimizes carpet compression to provide dirt and moisture collection. It's rubber backing and border provide added durability.  The exclusive “Water Dam” border keeps dirt and water in the mat and off the floor, minimizing slip hazards and floor damage.
 
Waterhog™ DiamondCord 6'x20' entrance mats are certified slip resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute and are made by a U.S. Green Building Council Member.
